Oothcalooga Baptist Church has stood as a beacon for Christ in north Bartow County since 1835. Not even a fire in 1955 that destroyed the building nor the burglars that stole the church records in 1986, deterred it from its course set by its founding fathers.

The people of Oothcalooga make this a family. Because of their love for god, for each other, and the community, nothing is impossible, nor any goal unreachable. God has great things in store for Oothcalooga Baptist Church and we would lve for you to be a part of it.

What To Expect

Come as you are. Many in our congregation wear jeans, some dress up a bit more, but the important thing is that we all come to worship together. You can expect an inviting and friendly atmosphere at Oothcalooga. Our worship is a mixture of congregational hymns and a few special songs and the preaching is Christ-centered.

Sunday School

As a part of our Mission Statement, we believe in growing in our faith. One great way of doing that is through our Sunday School classes that begin at 10 am. There are classes for all ages.
